We’re a fan of the weather-repelling, hooded popover and reached back into our archives for the design of our waxed cotton Ripstop Anorak. The hard-wearing anorak, created for protection in severe Arctic climates, has been around for a century or more. While the design in ours is classic, the shell is crafted of a thoroughly modern, dry-waxed cotton ripstop from Scotland’s Halley Stevensons, the world’s leading manufacturer and innovator in waxed cotton. The durable, midweight fabric, lined with nylon twill, is perfect for fending off wind and drizzly skies. A side-zip makes for easy on-and-off when the weather changes. Suede details on the hood cinch and zipper pull. The throwback label captures the spirit of the anorak’s enduring history.
