The Orvis luggage warranty covers our luggage against defects in manufacturing and materials for the lifetime of the bag. Luggage that fails due to manufacturing issues or defects will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at Orvis’s discretion. Damage or failure from wear and tear, normal use, accidents, or airline damage is not covered under our warranty. If the luggage is damaged by an airline, you should file a claim with the airline. If for any reason your luggage is not covered under our warranty, there may still be an option to have it repaired. We do assess a flat $60 shipping and handling fee for all luggage claims.
Orvis luggage is extremely durable and can withstand the rigors of travel with ease. For Battenkill®, Bullhide™, Trekkage®, and wheeled Safe Passage® luggage, our repair facility can fix almost any structural damage or hardware replacement, including tears/rips, zipper issues, broken handles/wheels/feet, and patching holes. Our goal is to help keep your luggage functional as long as possible.
Refurbishment or cleaning services to address general wear from use, such as frayed/worn fabric or edges, piping, scuffs, stains, and other cosmetic issues, are not offered at our facility.
Cleaning Battenkill® canvas and Trekkage™ fabric is easy: just gently wipe with a sponge using a mild detergent and warm, sudsy water. Additional stain-resistant products, such as Scotchgard™, may be applied if you choose.
To keep leather supple and oil-rich, we recommend using a quality leather dressing. This will condition and provide water resistance while allowing the leather to breathe. It will also prevent the leather from drying out and cracking and protect against staining and discoloration that can occur from contact with water, body oils, and other soiling agents. Keep pieces out of direct sunlight for long periods, and with proper care, your leather should remain healthy for years.
